Gua Sha is a versatile practice, a centuries-old tradition allowing you to tailor pressure, pace, direction while learning the many different applications.
PREP: start with clean, damp skin and liberally apply a slip agent, like our Bobo Oil, to help the tool glide smoothly across your skin.
TECHNIQUE: hold the tool comfortably, orienting it parallel to the skin, between a 15° - 45° angle. Use light to medium pressure and consistent, gentle strokes to draw fluid towards lymph drainage points.
CLEAN: keep your tool clean with soap and water after each use, being sure to dry fully before putting away.
